Small Business for Bigger Income
Introduction to Business is a training program to help low income Cantonese women find practical and flexible ways to increase their income. Through interactive workshops and discussions, they will learn to:
- Find business ideas that could grow their income and financial independence
- Analyse the risks and rewards of a business-woman
- Gain understanding on the legal and practical steps to start a business
- Explore how to manage risks and increase the chances of business success
- Get practical tips to manage time efficiently
- Write an action plan to set up a business
This highly practical training consists of 4 sessions of 2.5 hours each:
- Part 1: Is a business a good idea?(What is a business, what business would fit you)
- Part 2: Where shall I start? (The steps to set up a business, what is a business plan)
- Part 3: Where shall I find the money? (loans/saving, income and costs, getting help)
- Part 4: How can I put all the chances on my side? (Getting customers, managing time between business and family)
